I am originally from Venice, California, and I have always been drawn to unique beach communities. Over the years I have lived in Hawaii, Santa Cruz, and the beach cities of San Diego.
We came to Nosara for the first time in 2011 to enjoy some quality family time abroad. During those 7 months we fell in love with the jungle, the simple life pace, and Costa Rica’s family friendly culture. We returned in 2013 and have called Nosara home ever since.
I have worked in Property Management for 7 years and it has given me valuable insight into the seasonal rhythms of the area and what it means to be a Nosara homeowner. I enjoy sharing my knowledge with homeowners and guests about the community and family life in Nosara.
Prior to Nosara, I worked for 15 years in Community Outreach and Project Management. I have a B.A. in Journalism & Media Studies. I am a member of the Nosara Civic Association (NCA), a volunteer for Nosara Recicla, my partner owns the Nosara Spanish Institute, and we have a son that attends the private Waldorf School, Casa de las Estrellas, in Playa Garza.
